SCHOOL INDUCTION PROGRAM DAY 5
SCHOOL INDUCTION PROGRAM DAY 5
Jan 9 2023
We reached on the fifth and the final day of the school induction programme as part of the B.Ed. curriculum. Since it was Monday the general assembly was conducted at the school auditorium. The entire assembly was organised by the students of 6 C and it began with prayer by a group of students. This was followed by the National pledge. After this, the daily news was read out by Anakha and she included almost all the main headlines of the day. Every year Januray 9 is celebrated as Pravasi Bharatiya Divas and in connection with this the special program was the presentation of some posters on the theme of 'Pravasi Divas' by Riya and followed by a short informative speech on the importance of the day by Lekshmi. School band was introduced in front of others and they presented a beautiful performance. The rhythm of the band was do amazing to hear. The students of the band troop did it with much vigour, zeal and passion. Though the band was initiated last year, today's assembly witnessed their official inauguration. Prizes for the winners of Kerala School kalolsavam held at Kozhikode, were distributed in the assembly. Many students secured A Grade in various events and prizes were distributed in the assembly and this further added colour to the day. The students who won in the competitions held at the school were also given their prizes. The assembly came to an end by the singing of the National Anthem. In the morning we clicked a photo with Head mistress of the school.
At noon, we served the mid day meal to all students, teachers, non teaching staff and the B.Ed trainees of St. Thomas and Mar Theophilos. We all had our meal from the school.
We got an opportunity to observe the classes of senior teachers. We observed a Hindi class taken by Deepa teacher in 9C.
WE took a class on 9B in the afternoon section. The subject that we dealt was biology and the topic was "Diffferent type of joints." We made use of charts as teaching aids and drew pictures representing the same on the white board. I felt that the class was interesting. Thus the last day our school induction program came to an end at 3: 30 pm after the National Anthem.
This 5 day programme brought memorable experiences. The way by which the students called us as teacher, their wishes like good morning and good afternoon was still strucked in my mind. The whole infrastructure and actual condition of the school and its functioning provides lot of information which are useful for the better understanding of the GGHSS PEROOKAD school.
