Model LPS School Visit

We visited Model LPS school Thycaud for a casual visit on 18/11/2022.The initiative for this visit was taken by Rahul sir , professor of psychology of our college.we reached there at 10:30 am. First of all the school head teacher introduced us about the history and background of the school as well as the teachers and other staffs contribution in creating the school from its old cell to its renewed  form.
   
  Then we were taken to the main auditorium of the school which was designed in such a manner as to give students special experience. Students of 3rd to 4th standard where taken to the auditorium .We students of 1st year B.Ed students conducted various programs to entertain as well as educate the small childreor 
       students from science stream of a class demonstrated various experiments and they showed them the magical science mathematics students did card games and students from English department give students puzzle game then the most highlight of the program was action song by language students this program stole the show and children of the school was delighted on saying the action song and we ask them to imitate as and they did Grace leave then we ask them to accompany is on the stage to do the same day many of the came forward and did steps with us.
     We brought a basket full of pencils, toys, chocolates, Christmas tree and so many books for the students. This properties where handed over to the school authority. We distributed sweets among the children. They took the sweets happily and we enjoyed being with  children who are so innocent and energetic .
     Later on we went to see the school premises and the smart classes. The corridors where beautiful painted with many themes to educate them and the library too was good.we had lot many to see and to study from the school but due to lack of time and as it was noon we came back to our college to have our lunch. But the experience which we got from there was worth of it and we could not forget being there.This will stay with us forever.

SCHOOL INDUCTION ORIENTATION Dec 22 2022 The school introduction programme for the first B.Ed students at GCTE was planned to run from January 3 to 7, 2023, in accordance with the B.Ed curriculum. The student list for the chosen schools was also provided earlier. Our lecturers conducted the orientation session for the same on December 21 in the GCTE Research Room. The coordinator of the programme was a Shiba teacher. Parvathy was the student coordinator of the programme. Issac Sir, Joly Teacher, Praveena Teacher, Asha Teacher, Chitralekha Teacher, Shiba Teacher, Sheena Teacher, Jayakrishna Teacher, and Jithin Sir all provided instructions for the school induction.The main instructions that we should follow is to attend any two of the school's qualified instructors' classes.Take three classes that the student teachers shared.Learn about the school's history, facilities, clubs, achivements, NSS,NCC etc. And we have to write the induction report and reflective journal.
